Successful websites communicate with purpose and clarity. They feel intuitive and are simple to navigate. They don’t overwhelm. They deliver a clear message. They make it easy and appealing for visitors to take action.

We meet over coffee (KZN Midlands clients) or virtually over Zoom/Skype to chat about your project and business. I will then send you a proposal that contains the scope of work, service contract and costing. The contract needs to be electronically signed and returned to me and the 50% deposit made in order for the project to start.
I will set up the project in my preferred project management tool, ClickUp. This will contain the project milestones and to do lists. I will help you decide on what pages and marketing funnels your website needs. I will also help you set clear and achievable goals for the website.
Once we have a clear understanding of the structure and focus of your new website, I will ask you to upload all the content (copy, images, videos and product sheet) to a Dropbox folder I create for the project. I require all content to be in the Dropbox folder by the scheduled project start date.
Design & Development
I will set up the website and design the pages. If building an online store, I will also set up your chosen payment gateway and all store-related emails and notifications.
Review & Testing
I will ask you to review the website and send all changes to me in writing. I will test the website functionality and make sure the design works perfectly across different screen sizes and popular browsers. I will then connect your website to Google Analytics and finalise the on-page SEO.
We launch your new, beautiful website! I provide 30 days’ tech support after the launch to iron out any issues that may occur and to answer any questions you may have about managing your new website. I also offer Premium Website Care for WordPress websites, which includes a premium backup service (Blog Vault), security monitoring, monthly Google Analytics report and up to 2 hours of web development or admin (content updates, blog publishing and designing new pages).
I believe that Shopify offers the best eCommerce solution for product-based businesses that have ambitious growth plans. In my experience, online retailers switch to Shopify (from WordPress/WooCommerce, Wix, Weebly or Squarespace) as soon as their store starts getting greater traffic and higher volumes of sales.
Why is this? Shopify offers a fully-managed eCommerce solution. Super-fast cloud hosting is included in all Shopify plans, which means Shopify online stores load fast and function fast (very important for conversion-optimisation). Shopify provides 24 hour support, so if anything ever goes wrong, they will jump in and fix it, free of charge. Shopify stores are easier to manage and update, plus Shopify provides a free app so that merchants can manage their store on the go, from whereever they are. It’s a superior, purpose-built eCommerce solution and the perfect fit for businesses that have ambitious growth plans.
I build all non-eCommerce websites in WordPress.
WordPress is the world’s most popular website software, powering over 25% of websites. What I love about WordPress is that I can build a complex website with advanced functionality, and then hand it over to my client who can easily manage and update the website because of WordPress’s intuitive content management system.
I include one-on-one training and video tutorials in all my web design packages.
I aim to launch websites within 4 – 8 weeks from the project start date. However, this is dependent on you sending me all the required content before the scheduled start date. In my experience, projects are usually always delayed due to clients not getting the required content to me when required.
I require 50% of the total project cost to be paid before planning and design begins. The remaining 50% is due before going live with the website.
